11 editions of the magazine from February to December, 1980. All in excellent or very good condition bar one with detached cover. 'The Queen’ magazine was originally established in 1861 by Samuel Beeton as a British ‘society’ magazine, becoming just ‘Queen’ in 1958 when it was directed at the younger side of the British ‘Establishment’, then known as the ‘Chelsea Set’. In 1964, the magazine gave birth to Radio Caroline, the first daytime commercial pirate radio station serving London, which operated out of their London editorial offices. Following the magazine’s sale in 1968, its title changed to Harper’s & Queen and subsequently Harper’s Bazaar as it is now known.
