Set of six quality Chippendale design antique dining chairs
This quality set of six Chippendale design antique dining chairs circa 1920 has the original makers label A.W.Brown, Lancaster. The antique dining chairs consist of two carvers and four dining chairs each with elegant carved Chippendale design ladder backs. The antique chairs stand on splayed back legs, have moulded front legs and have an H stretcher for added stability. The carvers have elegant carved arms and the chairs have been constructed from the finest quality mahogany. The antique dining chairs have drop-in seats with the original floral fabric and the chairs are a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
