This is an English silver Clock with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1910 and also maker's marks for L & Co: Liberty
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate lever movement is unsigned and is in 80% mint condition – small marks and scratches
Dial – the white enamel dial has gilt hands and is in 95% mint condition – small marks only
Case – the English silver case has a rectangular stepped base with sloping sides leaning to a typical arched top from the period. The movement slots into the case and is held in place by a leather covered wooden block, which has a simple hinged door which reveals the movement. The case has a round aperture for the dial and is surrounded by a gilt metal bezel and laurel leaf border decorated with dark green and blue enamel.
The case measures 8cm wide x 3.5cm deep x 9cm high
The case is in 95% mint condition – light marks only, overall in excellent condition
