An unusual lot. A large double silver box split for cigars on one side and for cigarettes on the other. Each has its own hinged lid and original wooden interior. The lids are engraved with “Cigars” and “Cigarettes” in script and with a decorative monogram. It comes complete with the original presentation box retailed by the South African jewellers Harris & Co. Total length 22 cms, width 12 cms, height 6.5 cms. Cigar box length 11.5 x 11.5 cms. This handsome box is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. The silver marks on the base are clear and easy to read. Lids unmarked. A couple of tiny dinks to the side of the box. The outside of the presentation case is a bit worn but could be cleaned up. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
