A silver hunting horn with inscriptions "Presented To WN Barry Esq By the puppy Walkers of Castle Cor", "Rum'uns to Follow, Alexis Roche, Comrade 1884 Barabara Becher, Vandal 1893" and "The Right Sort, Lord Doneraile, Sportive 1889, Jack Longfield, Scandal 1909". Made by Kohler and Son and hallmarked in London 1918.
The horn has some scratches to the body and the solder line is visible down the side of the horn. There are also some very small bruises. The horn is part hallmarked in two places and fully marked at the base also with inscription "Kohler and Son Makers (From Covent Garden) 185 Piccadilly London W1".
The additional marks on the Kohler hunting horn are there to commemorate the fact that Kohler's instruments won medals at the London Exhibitions of 1851 (The Great Exhibition) and 1862 (The International Exhibition, or the Great London Exposition).
