Impressed to base fleur de lys and triangle in a shield with maker’s initials T.W, EPNS (Electro Plated Nickel Silver) and the number 3045. TW could refer to either Thomas White of Sheffield or Thomas Woolley of Birmingham.

Sidney Albert Mott (1872-1924) lived in The Lydes, a large farming estate in Toddington, near Winchcombe, Gloucestershire until 1924. A major with the Royal Scots Fusiliers he was married in 1907 to Grizle Cunninghame, daughter of the 15th Laird of Craigends, Renfrewshire, Scotland.
