This is a wonderful heavy antique silver fruit bowl set with large, well coloured, green chrysoprase. The bowl is fully hallmarked for 1910 and was made by Frederick Smythe Greenwood, an excellent arts and crafts silversmith who was most likely trained in the workshop of Ramsden & Carr. The bowl, and other work by Smythe Greenwood, is very much in their style.
