Small Victorian Walnut Office Chest.
This unusual small Victorian walnut office chest, circa 1890, has a rectangular moulded top with rounded corners and central leather writing insert. The top sits above three mahogany lined drawers with raised moulded fronts and original brass handles. The antique chest of drawers stands on cabriole legs with unusual shaped pad feet. Overall an elegant piece of furniture with practical uses either for storage in an office or maybe a lamp table in a living space? It is a warm, medium walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
