The 'True Sons of Equity Benefit Society" was instituted in 1814 and met at the Globe Tavern, Hatton Garden, London. Other groups met in the 1820's in Gray's Inn Lane and at the Cobham Head, Coppice Row, Clerkenwell from 1832.
