A volume of thirty-three poems by Conan Doyle and published by Smith & Elder in 1911,viii,138 pp. uncut and tipped-in publishers' flyer advertising Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works and in particular citing critical reviews of Songs of Action,blue partially worn buckram and gilt title and to spine.

The front endpapers include a bookplate of The Attic Sale 2010 and also the bookplate of George Evelyn Cower of Tavistock Street,Bedford Place, who retired from a government body,the Board of Works for The St. Giles' District of London in 1882.He died in 1911.
