A Staffordshire pottery cow creamer, c. 1860. Modelled as a milkmaid, with a cow that has the most unusual looking face ! A recumbent calf next to a milk pail. Typically decorated in vibrant coloured enamels.
Repair to cows horns. Firing crack to maids neck, but not broken. Some wear to the enamels. Otherwise perfect.
