A very rare Staffordshire pottery figure of a bull decorated with a most unusual and unique stripes effect almost representing a tiger.
The figure is modelled standing on grassy base with leaves and bright flowers with an unusual bocage decoration. These factors all make this a very interesting, decorative and unique piece from the workshops of the Staffordshire potters in the early 19th century.
This figure is unrecorded in any of the standard reference books.
