Sterling Silver Presentation Horse

This large cast model is embellished with fine details reproducing the horse's anatomical features and equestrian tack, consisting of headstall, browband, cheek piece and noseband.
This horse/equestrian trophy stands to the original painted wood plinth.
The impressive plinth is fitted with a hallmarked sterling silver shaped rectangular plaque to one side embellished with the presentation inscription:
'Bayard, presented to Frederick Gordon Colman Esquire, by the Surrey Union Hunt in appreciation of his six successful years as Master, 1904-1910'.
If required the inscription could be removed or the opposing side of the plinth could be fitted with a bespoke sterling silver presentation plaques suitable for a personal inscription.
This presentation plinth is fitted with a leatherette covering to the underside.
This magnificent and large horse/equestrian trophy was crafted by the renowned London silversmiths Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd.
