A large, impressive French brass cased four glass clock. It has a traditional two door case that has bevel edge glass all around, a two piece enamel dial with an ornate cast bezel, with a visible Brocot escapement, and is signed by the original retailer from Paris, Paul Frogere. It has a compensating mercury filled pendulum. The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong. If you would like to receive a video clip of this clock ticking and striking please email us.
The brass case has been polished and lacquered so it will not tarnish, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed fr 12 months.
