A pair of antique sterling silver candlesticks with a matching tall sterling silver candelabra. All by the highly regarded Sheffield maker Hawkesworth, Eyre & Co Ltd. In the Georgian style with knopped stems, square bases with acanthus leaf corners and removable sconces. Candlesticks height 25.5 cms. base 11 cms square. Candelabra height 48 cms (total), 28.5 cms (candlestick), base 14 cms square, spread across the top 38.5 cms. London 1920/21. Maker Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd.
This excellent set of candlesticks and candelabra are in very good condition with no damage or restoration. All 3 candlesticks are marked with good, clear silver stamps for Sheffield 1921. The candelabra top is marked with good silver stamps for Sheffield 1920. All the nozzles have the maker, Sheffield crown and lion mark. The candlestick bases are silver panelled and have the lion mark, 2 have a small bruise on the underside.
