Superb Belle Epoque Ivy Bangle by the important Parisian Goldsmith & Jeweler Emile Froment-Meurice
This rare & beautiful gold bangle is steeped in symbolism. Ivy has always been regarded as a symbol of friendship and fidelity. The Druids wove sprigs of ivy into head ornaments and necklaces to celebrate nature and clear thinking. Ivy is incredibly durable and serves as an example of the strength of the human spirit. It grows in the shape of a spiral long considered a sacred symbol.
