Inner case – the movement comes in a gilt inner case, which has a hinged bezel and the watch is wound from the back, set from the front and swings out from the front also. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – some gilding is missing but this is honest wear on the stem and bow and very little on the inner which would have been covered by the outer Outer case – the original and matching outer case has an early watch paper. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 75% mint condition – most of the gilding has worn away but still in honest condition
Dial – the white enamel dial has a rare pair of gold heart shaped hands. The dial is signed with the owners name “Willm Mills, 1801”. The dial is in 98% mint condition – some small scratches only.
