A substantial and beautiful early Victorian dark tortoiseshell teacaddy, the lid lifting to reveal two lidded compartments veneered in tortoiseshell that matches the outside. All edges are veneered in ivory and the bun feet are made of the same. The interior lock plate is engraved "LUND MAKER FLEET STREET LONDON"
