(1846-1911)

A painter of domestic subjects, Arthur Batt exhibited at many of the major London galleries between 1880 and 1893, including the Royal Academy, Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Institute of Painters in Oils, as well as various galleries in the provinces. His address was given as Lyndhurst in Hampshire. Arthur Batt painted in a similar style to John Emms and it is believed that they may have been friends.
