Two volumes in one - Unpaginated, the Common Prayer collates A8 - Bb8, Cc4 and the Book of Psalms (dated 1709) A8 - H8, I4. Full contemporary morocco, raised bands, spine in six panels, panels one, three, four and six with a gilt diagonal cross dividing the panel into four triangles, with flower head tools to each triangle, panels two and five with roundels and seed head tools, covers with gilt double fillet border, inner panel with floral spray corner pieces, gilt roll to edge, a.e.g. comb and swirled marbled endpapers. Rubbed to extremities, corners bumped, boards slightly splayed. Internally lightly browned with occasional light foxing, one plate with a split, but not affecting image, reverse of frontispiece with previous owners names. Frontispiece and additional engraved title page, and forty-nine full page engravings throughout. The engravings were seemingly issued separately, though the Estc copy does have them. Uncommon, not in Griffiths, five locations worldwide (CP) on Estc, Estc T87280 (CP) and T87301 (Psalms)
