Chinese Export ship's portrait of the Shire Iine's ship Denbighshire. Painted oil on linen now laid down onto board and within a period Oriental palmwood frame.
The Denbighshire was one of the Shire Line's steam ships usually employed in carrying mail to and from the far east.
