A colourful coaching chromolithograph by Bemrose in a new oak frame after Cecil Aldin. The image depicts the Eton - London coach being pulled by four horses, a gentleman is leaning out the window calling to the driver. On the coach door is London, whilst on the bodywork Eton and Slough. Ca. 1905.

Louis Meyer helped Aldin to break into the print market by being one of the first to encourage him to design carriage and stagecoach pictures.

Cecil Aldin (1870 - 1935) was a prolific painter, not only did he paint the golfing scenes he also painted sensitive depictions of his dogs and scenes of hunting and racing. Aldin was the Master of the South Berkshire Hunt and was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1898.
