Four volumes complete - Volume One - xlii, 446pp; Volume Two - viii, [4], 484pp; Volume Three - x, [2], 512pp and Volume Four - ix, [3], 508pp. Half morocco and marbled paper over boards, smooth spines, divided into three unequal single fillet frames, the first with author, title and volume, the second enclosing an inner panel with flower and leaf corner pieces and the third with the date, all in gilt, t.e.g. marbled endpapers. Slightly rubbed to extremities, marbled paper covering boards slightly rubbed in places. Internally some light foxing to fore edge of text block, occasionally coming on to margins and very occasionally to text, but generally quite bright and clean. One set of illustrations in volume three lightly water stained, otherwise clean. Volume one has nine illustrations, volume two has ten, volume three has nine and volume four has nine (as called for). Edition de luxe, with each of the plates in three states, limited to one hundred and thirty copies, this being copy one hundred and seventeen. A handsome edition
