Cleaning brush strokes seems to live the scene in three-dimensional manner, moving the spectator, enjoying every little detail.

Jean Guillaume Rosier:
Born September 15, 1858 in Lanaken. Died July 24, 1931 in Antwerp. XIXth - XXèm century. Belgian. history painter, religious compositions, allegorical subject, gerne scenes, portraits, animated landscapes.
He was Charles Michel Verlat at the Antwerp Academy, and he entered the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, in the studio of Alexandre Cabanel and Jean Leon Gerome.
He taught at the Academy of Antwerp, and the London School of Arts. He was a founding member of Als ik Kan, director of the Academy of Mechelen Belgian and member of Academic Council since 1903.
