Bound in three volumes. Volume I, Part I: x, , 12-91,  pages; Part II: , 4-77,  pages. Illustrated with 20 plates in Part I, and 21 in Part II. Volume II, Part III: , 4-71,  pages; Part II: , 4-71,  pages; Part IV: , 4-55,  pages; Part V: , 82,  pages. Illustrated with 22 plates in Part III; 9 in Part IV; 11 in Part V. Volume III; Part VI:  4-232, , [7 ad's] pages. Illustrated with 32 plates. The first plate in each volume is hand-coloured as issued; the remaining plates are uncoloured. Contemporary calf, expertly re-backed. 12mo. First edition. Ownership name of Susan Woodward to the title-page of each volume; some annotation in pencil by her, both in French and English, throughout volume I; couple of water stains to margins; else an excellent crisp copy of a very scarce 18th century children's book, rarely found complete. This title could be purchased with the plates coloured or uncoloured; this is the first occasion we have handled a copy with the only frontispieces coloured, and the remaining plates uncoloured.
