A brother and sister seated on a green velvet chair, the former touches a parrot

Tatham was a miniaturist and sculptor who worked chiefly in London. In 1824 he obtained a prize from the Society of Arts. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1825 to 1854 and in 1828 and 1829 at the British Institute. His work resembles the technique of Chalon of whom he was undoubtedly a pupil
