Attractive and finely proportioned early 19th Century ‘flame’ mahogany cased dwarf Wheel Barometer; with ‘'swan-neck' pediment over case inset with well engraved silvered brass detachable hygrometer, bow-fronted mercury Fahrenheit thermometer, unusual 6-inch diameter barometer dial and sprit level to base, signed by the maker.
c1825.

Jones inherited his [largely nautical] instrument making business from his father in 1816 and worked from premises in Harrington St., Liverpool until 1831.
