The substantial early 8-day movement is supported within brass gimbals and the 4 ½ inch convex silvered brass dial is signed, engraved and numbered. There are 2 subsidiary dials for up and down and subsidiary seconds.
The fusee movement exhibits all the usual refinements including spring-detent escapement and helical hairspring
