Tortoise display cabinet made by maison Franck in 1920 (1920 Belgium)

We had this display cabinet for many years in our own showroom. We used it to put the glass in. It is a lovely cabinet made in 1920 by a Belgium firm Maison Franck. This firm had connections in China and that is why they could import tortoise shields to use on their tables and cabinets. It is not in a perfect condition. The tortoise has some wear and the wood has been treated against woodworms. But still it is a lovely cabinet and it can serve another lifetime for a collector. It is a perfect showcase for glass, porcelain or any other collection.
