Favourite Item
A whitewood sewing basket with divisions for spools. The lid decorated with a print of Brighton Pavilion from The Steine, which shows clearly the iron railings, lamp posts and the stone pavement, which were added in the early 1820's. The frieze of the basket has two small circular prints applied; one of distant view of the Pavilion and the other of the Royal Mews. Attributed to John Izzard of Brighton.
