DJ rubbed, several small closed nicks and tears, larger closed tear to head of upper panel, corners and foot of spine chipped with small amount of loss. Light foxing to edges of text block, running on to fore-edge of index leaves, but not text, internally quite bright and clean. With photographic frontispiece and thirty-two photographic illustrations on nineteen plates, two photographic panoramas on one folding plate, double page meteorological table and three sketches to text.
