Tyrone standing upon a barrel playing a violin as Dr. O'Toole , and another profile of Tryone
watercolour background, a classical landscape setting, ; the reverse with silhouette of Giulio Regondi who was an Italian classical guitarist, concertinist and composer. Regondi was a child prodigy.

Tyrone was a well known Irish actor, comedian, author and theatrical manager.

In the National Portrait Gallery is another group silhouette, in reverse, by Edouart of Tryone as Dr.O'Toole and Tryone Power together with Mrs.Siddons, signed and dated 12 August 1832, which lacks the finished watercolour background as seen in the present example.

Tryone and his servant were lost at sea when aboard the SS President. The reverse of the silhouette is backed with a newspaper cutting from the "National Intelligeneer", Washington May 25th 1841 which lists the other crew members who died on the same voyage
