Red boxed game, the lid with original label finely illustrated. Inscribed Glevum Games trademark Made in England. Within a large folding card (28” x 20”) printed with the tail-less donkey and two tails with which to play. The instructions on the label inside the lid and the original Bristol vendor’s details. Glevum Games were founded by two brothers Harry and John Owen-Roberts in 1894 and continued until 1956. They were the largest toy makers in the British Empire and were based at Upton Street, Gloucester.
