A 19th century Victorian glass decanter with a sterling silver collar and stopper.
The decanter has a very fine ribbed decoration to the glass and a clear glass loop handle.
The silver hall marked collar and stopper have embossed decoration, the collar with a vacant shield shaped cartouche.
The hall marks are for Birmingham, the date 1890 and the maker's mark for 'J Sherwood and Sons'.
The decanter is in very good condition and the silver hall marks are crisp and clear on both the collar and stopper. (Circa 1890)
