Size: approx. 18cm high, 29cm wide – 7 ins high, 11½ ins wide
Fungus has long been associated with alchemy and magical potions. Springing mysteriously, often overnight from the earth or from trees they are unique and extraordinary phenomena. As a source of wonder they were often collected and put into cabinets of curiosities.
