Victorian Staffordshire Figure of John Wesley at his Pulpit,
Circa 1850's

The figure group is a fireplace ornament with a three-dimensional figure of John Wesley preaching, his right arm raised and the bible before him on the pulpit. This is within a shaped surround with a faux clock below set at 5 o'clock and two angels above to the left and right with a love of Peace in the centre above the alcove where the figure of Wesley stands. Across the base is the moulded name highlighted in gold of Wesley.
