Victorian Walnut Antique Chiffonier / Sideboard.
Dating from around 1890 this Victorian antique chiffonier / sideboard, made from walnut, has a raised back with beautifully turned spindles. The raised back also benefits from a moulded shelf below which sits a mirror. The piece has a rectangular moulded top over two walnut lined drawers with original brass handles and two cupboard doors with reeded panels and key with working lock. The interior of the antique sideboard has a single fixed shelf and the whole piece stands on a plain plinth. It is a warm, light, medium walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
