Victorian Walnut Antique Open Bookcase with Mirror.
This elegant Victorian walnut antique open bookcase, circa 1880, is in the style and quality of the renowned cabinet makers Lambs of Manchester. It has a raised shaped back with original bevelled mirror above two mahogany lined drawers with moulded edges and brass handles and has two adjustable shelves. This delightful antique bookcase has an unusual configuration and is a definite ‘attention seeker’ in a room. It stands on shaped bracket feet has its original back boards and is a rich, light, medium walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
