The top, with carved foliate decoration on the show wood surround, has an upholstered back depicting flowers and butterflies. The padded arms, with scroll ends, are supported by swept and moulded legs either side of a conforming upholstered seat with a moulded and serpentine front edge.

The whole is of a lovely colour, in good condition, completely re-upholstered and retains a patination.
