This impressive model is embellished with chased decoration reproducing the fine details of the bird’s feathers and anatomical features.
The hallmarked sterling silver kestrel is detachable from the original ion pyrite* base; the model secures to the mineral base with a dowel pin.
* Iron pyrite is also commonly known as ‘fool’s gold’ due to its composition and metallic pale brass-yellow hue.
