The folded wings of this impressive stylised bird are embellished with thirty-two individually four claw set turquoise cabochons.
The bird's tail feathers display eight, claw set natural blue sapphires in a combination of round mixed cut and oval mixed cuts.
The bird's head has a textured finish and is accented with an 18 ct white gold crest displaying eight pavé set eight-cut diamonds.
A single collet set natural blue sapphire represents the bird's eye.
This stunning bird is perched upon a textured 18 ct yellow gold branch, accented with three trefoil settings, each ornamented with round mixed cut natural rubies.
This impressive vintage multi-gemstone brooch secures to the reverse with a hallmarked double prong pin and push fit clasp.
The brooch is hallmarked to both pins with the French 18ct gold guarantee mark (eagle's head) and the reverse of the branch is hallmarked with the maker's mark in addition to the French mark for 18 ct gold.
