Vintage George VI Sterling Silver Four Piece Tea Service
Offered by AC Silver
Each piece of this fine set has a plain rectangular cushion shaped form onto a stepped collet style base with bracket style feet in the Art Deco style.
The surface of each piece is plain and unembellished.
The rim of each piece is ornamented with a thread decorated border.
The hallmarked hinged covers to both the coffee pot and teapot retain the original Art Deco style carved and painted wood finials.
The teapot and coffee pot are fitted with angular Art Deco style carved painted wood handles featuring a plain thumbpiece.
The cream jug and sugar bowl are also fitted with angular Art Deco style sterling silver handles.
This fine sterling silver service is displayed on a tray for illustrative purposes only - the tray (W4686) may be purchased separately from the AC Silver inventory.
