The circular white dial displays gold coloured 3,6,9 and 12 Arabic numerals with dart hour markers between.
Displayed to the face is the applied Omega icon above the text 'Omega, Automatic' and 'Seamaster'.
The dial displays a clear yet subtle seconds marked chapter ring.
The watch is fitted with dauphine gold hands, including a plain sweeping seconds hand.
The dial is encircled with a plain polished 18ct yellow gold bezel.
The crown / winder is clearly marked with the Omega logo.
The heavy gauge hallmarked watch case is plain and unembellished apart from the bright cut engraved crest of an antlope's head erased to the reverse.
The case is clearly marked to the interior with full hallmarks including the maker's mark ALD, in addition to the case number 75****, and fitted with an Omega 20 jewels calibre 501 movement, number 1464****.
This man's watch is fitted with a replacement brown leather Hirsch diamond calf watch strap with a conventional tang style buckle.
* ALD refers to the watch case maker Aaron Lufkin Dennison (1812 - 1895), founder of the Dennison Watch Case Company, who crafted cases for watchmakers such as Omega, Rolex, Longines, Rotary and Favre. Originally Dennison worked closely with Swiss watch movement makers when based in New York and Manhattan. He later moved to Birmingham, England where his son Franklin continued the family business which ceased trading in 1967.
