Each piece of this impressive and extensive set is embellished with sunburst guilloche enamel panel accented with gold coloured metal fleur-de-lis and circular motif ornamentation.
The plain circular candlesticks are encircled with plain girdles and fitted with the original hallmarked sterling silver push fit sconces.
The weighted base of each candlestick and the sconces are ornamented with impressive enamel panels.
The plain rectangular tray has rounded corners, with a central enamel panel to the well.
The cut glass dressing table jar has a circular rounded compressed form.
This impressive dressing table jar retains the original push fit hallmarked sterling silver and guilloche enamel cover.
The trinket/jewellery box has a square form with plain and unembellished sides.
The box is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover featuring a shaped incurved thumbpiece to the front surface and enamel to the top.
This fine vintage box retains the original, modest velvet lined interior.
The hand mirror has a rounded shaped incurved form with fine and impressive guilloche enamel panel to the reverse surface.
This hand mirror retains the original bevelled glass and shows a clear reflection.
The clothes brush has a rounded rectangular form with incurved corners and retains the original bristles.
The shaft and teeth of the comb are crafted in tortoiseshell with a sterling silver and enamel handpiece.
The fundamental components of this extensive service were craft by the Birmingham silversmith Albert Carter between 1962 and 1964; these items will have been crafted in a two year period but due to the hallmarking system the pieces are struck with the date letters n, o and p.
The dressing table tray was made by in 1967 by a specialist silversmith S J Rose & Son in London.
This exceptional service is in remarkably fine condition considering the age and type of each component.

There is a minor ding to the handle of the hand mirror; this does not detract from the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the piece.
The enamel is in perfect condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each piece and the underside of the tray are all clear, in keeping with age.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these impressive vintage items.
