The unusual chocolate dial is fitted with silvered, luminescent baton hands and a plain central seconds hand, in addition to the date change function which is visibly magnified by a 'Cyclops' lens at the 3 o'clock position.
The dial has silvered baton hour markers and luminescent hour markers to the angled, minute marked chapter ring.
The dial displays the text Tudor, 'Prince Oysterdate, Chrono-Time' below the shield logo, in addition to the text 'Rotor, Self-Winding'.
This genuine Tudor watch has a fluted bezel and a Rolex twin-lock, insignia embossed crown.
The stainless steel case is factory engraved with the Rolex crown logo, and 'Original Oyster Case by Rolex, Geneva'.
The reverse is also marked between the lugs with the model number 9121/OS and the serial number 810***.
This man's watch is fitted with a stainless steel Tudor bracelet strap (ref 9585) with a logo embossed, steelinox 9585 Tudor clip clasp.
An alternative black dial is supplied with this vintage wrist watch.
NOTE *The founder of Rolex (1908) Hans Wilsdorf first introduced Tudor watches worldwide in 1946.
The most important difference between Rolex and Tudor in the 1940's was the movement supplied by Ebauches SA, ETA. The Rolex company still places value today on the fact that the modified automatic calibers by ETA are 'especially made for Tudor'.
