Item Description / Dealer Expertise

A well proportioned West Country longcase clock dating the early 19th Century. It has a break arch hood with swan necks and a central brass finial, a break arch glazed door with a wavy edge surround and reeded turned columns with brass capitals. The trunk has a short door with ebony and boxwood stringing. The plain white enamel dial is signed by the Maker "Lantier Bath". It has an 8 day hour bell striking movement.
