"What About A Walkie?" Cecil Aldin Etching.
A mounted and framed original etching by Cecil Aldin entitled "What About A Walkie?". Published by Eyre & Spottiswoode (Publishers) Ltd., London, E.C. This is a limited edition of 150 of which this is No. 39. The etching is signed in pencil by the artist and is in the original frame with original label on the backboard.

Cecil Aldin (1870 - 1935) was a prolific painter, not only did he paint his dogs, the Inns and some golfing scenes. He was famous for his wonderful scenes of hunting and racing. Aldin was the Master of the South Berkshire Hunt and was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1898.
