There is a simple cornice above the doors, with unusual mahogany which is cross cut, and the beading on the door is all crossbanded. Below there are another 4 doors with matching flamed mahogany panels and again 4 columns. The bookcase stands on an enclosed plinth. It retains its original shelves – there is also another set of glass shelves for this bookcase. Very stylish.
