Windsor Terrass Looking Eastward'. Aquatint with etching after the work by Paul Sandby. Publish'd according to Act of Parliament by P. Sandby St. Georges Row Sepr. 1st 1776. Very fine with large uncut margins. Unframed.
During the 1770's, on returning to London from Scotland, Paul Sandby lived in Windsor with his brother and family. It was during this time that he made many studies of Windsor Castle. This is No.2 from a set of 5. (Plate: 19 in x 13.5 in)
