Alexander Abdo painted fantasies and symbolic and romantic landscapes. He studied art privately and exhibited at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, the London Salon, and the Royal Cambrian Academy. He also exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1908 to 1927. His residence at the time was in Southall.
